Cheap Marina in the Med ?

is there a cheap marine or marinas in the med.... we are thinking of moving our yacht Donegal breeze and keep her based there all year round... it would be nice in a location where ryanair fly into....

Very cheap and comfortable is Tunisia e.g. Monastir but no Ryanair flights. Try Nouvel Air via Paris.

You didn't define cheap, but in 2006 one of the least expensive marinas in Spain was Almerimar. Fairly convenient to the Aiport in Almeria with regular flights to the UK. Longer bus ride to the airport in Malaga with the tourist cattle car flights.

I think the high season transient rate for a 12M yacht in 2006 was about 15E/Day. I don't know what the rate might be today nor for a year long contract.

The 'Marina del Soles' in Cagliari, Sardinia has excellent rates for long term stay. Ryanair flies to Alghero, than take bus to Cagliari. loads of expats(Irish and UK chaps) living there on their boats in the marina

There is nothing wrong with the place, that i can guarantee you. However, if you are more concerned with the looks of your boat and are a frequent polisher or you are one of them sunday afternoon sailors than there are a few more expansive marinas in Cagliari..Its defintly not the place to show off your new Helly Hanssen jacket and so...
The marina has everything you need.

We stayed at the Karpaz Gate Marina in North Cyprus from August last year until April this year and liked it. Free berths are no longer available but there are deep discounts for a one year stay. All flights are into Ercan Airport and go through Turkey.
