Boat storage DIY yard south west Florida?

Hello All,

We're thinking about storing our 37' sailboat in the south west of Florida this hurricane season.

We would love to get recommendations for a yard that offers haul/launch, DIY, 1-2 week live aboard on hard while prepping, and reasonable rates.

We were thinking somewhere from Ft Meyers to Naples area, the farther south the better.

I would recommend Glades Boat Storage just outside of Labelle Florida on the Caloosahachi River. They allow live aboard, diy, and the rates are the best that you’re going to find in the state of Florida. One caveat though; bring all your supplies with you, because the nearest chandlery in going to be a 2 hour drive round trip.

I helped a friend bring his boat to Charlotte Harbor Boat storage.

Charlotte Harbor Boat Storage in Placida, Florida

He has pulled his boat here a few times and has been very pleased.

That place seems great! Reached out but seems like they're full for the summer. The search continues!

Safe Cove is right beside Charlotte Harbor Boat Storage....try them. The one thing to know is that you must go thru one lock to get to both these yards. I recommend doing it at high tide.
