Boat fire

A sailboat caught fire at the High Seas Fuel Dock on Shelter Island in San Diego. All I know is they had tied up there for the night. How it started or anything I do not know.

We saw the fire from the boat so I walked over. I know there were some dogs on board but did not hear if people where. I have not heard anything about condition of the dogs.

I will post more when I learn anything.

Re: Boat fire

I think this is the link: 2 Dogs Die in Shelter Island Boat Fire | NBC 7 San Diego

or http://www.cbs8.com/story/20952705/2...t-catches-fire

or http://www.10news.com/news/2-dogs-di...rvive-02032013

News claims 2 of 4 dogs died, and there was 25K damage to boat.

Oops, I forgot to paste the thread. May I plead a senior moment? That is the correct thread.

The guy works there and lives in the mooring field. He brings the boat in about twice a week to plug into their shore power. It is a shame about the dogs he really loves them, they were well trained, and very friendly.
