Biscayne Bay Yacht Club Info Please

I will be heading to Coral Gables/Miami Florida for my 50th high school reunion later this year and one of the dinners is at the Biscayne Bay Yacht Club. I may be taking my boat there and according to the google map there seem to be lots of boats anchored off the club. I am not sure if they allow transient docking, I have a 35 ft cat with 19.5 beam, or I will have to anchor. Also wondering if they have a dinky dock. Other options are also possible for docking or anchoring.

Anyone in the Miami area who can offer suggestions. Most likely I will be heading there from the Keys or Bahamas depending.

I have called the club and they may or may not have space for me depending.

Right next to the BBYC is a marina called Monty's and on the other side of the BBYC is the Coral Reef Yacht Club. Monty's is a public marina. The CRYC is private and you would need to be a member of a club with reciprocal privileges to stay there.

Dinner Key Marina is a short walk away and there is a large mooring field just offshore from Dinner Key. You could dinghy directly to the BBYC. They do have a dinghy dock. I bet you'd be the only one to arrive by boat!

If you need marine supplies, I charge one boat tour to deliver to that area.

What high school did you go to?

Thanks for the quick reply. No problem with me lowering the inflatable and motoring to BBYC. There may be an issue if I want to have some of my class mates on the boat. The event is the Coral Gables Senior Highschool 50th reunion.

If you get a chance stop into my store and say hello.
I was a few years behind you at Gables.
