Available - liveaboard dock Pamlico Sound

We own a lot in Far Creek Harbor, Engelhard, NC and have enough room for another 44' sailboat (max 5' draft). We will rent it for $2500 per year. Engelhard is east of Belhaven and Swan Quarter.....50 miles south of Manteo.

Engelhard is a very quiet town with nothing for tourists. The harbor is home for a large commercial fishing fleet. We are the only sailboat here. This would be a good place to leave your boat for the summer or liveaboard. Public restrooms (very clean) available about 1/10 mile away, but no shower. Tide level only changes 18".

This is a picture taken while we were installing the bulkhead. The available spot is where the barge is.

If anyone is interested, please let me know.

I'm not certain. I will call the man that put in the bulkhead and have him measure the width of the channel. The boat will easily fit, but I'm not certain that it would leave enough room for a boat to pass through. Give me a few days to check.

I just spoke to my neighbor on the other side of the harbor and he said there will be enough for him to maneuver his boat thru. The barge in the pic is 15' wide. Contact me via e-mail if you are interested @: stoutwench@yahoo.com .
