I use my radar
for my anchor watch.
I put a piece of clear plastic film over my radar screen
, and I use felt marker pens to outline shore line and any outstanding features that show up on radar.
If the boat drags anchor in the dark, I can assess the situation in the dark and my radar eyes tell me what to do.
I am more comfortable with that than relying on GPS
. I do not want to experience a GPS
I hardly ever use the GPS for anchor watch. Maybe I need to do it more often and get comfortable.
