Alamitos Bay slips

What's the best way to find a 40' slip there? All I've seen so far are handwritten sublease cards posted on the marina office bulletin board (in the pre-intraweb sense of that word). Have to vacate my slip in Newport tonight, might as well move to where the wind is, out of Catalina shadow.

Re: Alamitos Bay slips

Alamitos Bay is getting new docks, as far as I know they aren't allowing anybody new in, because they have to displace boats to rebuild the docks. Your best bet is to go to Shoreline or another marina in San Pedro and get on the waiting list, but it will be a while.
