Advice on hiking/deck shoe?

In what way?
I love my crocs for comfort but they are appalling on any surface that is wet.

a typical racquetball shoe. Nice gummy non marking soles for immediate stops/turns on a high gloss floor. Cheaper than re-doing your non skid!

Mmmm a few suggestions but besides a few models in the keen nothing that is a trekking backpacking shoe.
I know that some backpack in sandals but Im after a shoe.
I should have clarified more specifically what I'm after. A lite weight proper hiking shoe that has a non marking sole with smaller tread and sipes (I can always sipe or razor cut myself) when I say a proper shoe one that can be used on talus off camber trails while carrying a load of say 40lb when starting out with full supplies and water. A shoe hopefully that is well vented for heat and drainage with finer mesh that keeps the little stones out.
I once saw such a shoe but it was a woman's and I can't recall the model or brand. Marketed as a trail runner or approach shoe, that handles the water, it had a Vibram non marking sole that had a range of treads types and siping razor cuts. I wish I remembered the model..... Anyway
The shoe I'm after will be able to cross 15miles of single track and off track trails and then on another day work the wet foredeck. Some of the shoes etc mentioned are more for kicking around town and hiking up the hill where you landed your tender.
I'll keep checking out more of the keen shoes some of the ones at REI might be okay too.

I wear cross trainers for hiking ashore and on the foredeck. I buy any type that fits and has room for my orthotics. Don't know if this approach would work for you. We have good non-skid on the decks, might slip on others, but hasn't been a problem on I-II.
