Question Advice?

Good afternoon,
My name is John and I am looking to get a little bit of advice. I am 23 and have not had much experience crewing a boat. I have a damn good work ethic so I am not too worried about the work associated with doing so. My goal for 2017 is to work in exchange for travel. Have any of you heard of someone working temp jobs as a crew member as a means of travel? What are some of the things I should be looking for when exploring crew options? Are there any online courses or books I should purchase to help secure crew position? I am mainly looking for any advice that might relate to this thought process.

Re: Advice?

Post your sailing cv on all web based crewing agencies. Meanwhile, waiting, build up your skills and certs list and ... walk the docks, make some friends...

Re. quality of your work ethics leave this judgement to others. Better say something about your motivation, passion and resilience to seasickness.
