I don't mean the Big Bend.
I thought there was some to be had in more inhabited areas.

From Galveston Bay to the Floriduh panhandle there is not much but open road and commercial shipping, even in New Orleans. So it will be a while before we get to much in the way of civilization

After the season of inconvenience, if you find yourself in some dive of a bar in the Bahamas and there's an old fart sitting at the end of the bar mumbling to himself, go on over and introduce yourself and I'll buy you a beer.
Have fun and wish you the best of luck Chuck.

Chuck, I'll be leaving Cocodrie, South of Houma, Louisiana Sunday for the Fl. panhandle via Grand Isle, Venice, LA. and the Chandeleur Sound. I'll give you a shout if I see you along the way. I'll be cruising, slowly, in my Camano trawler, SPIRIT. The wind has been strong here but is supposed to lie down a bit next week. The Miss. River is very high now locks and bridges in N.O. have been having delays it is good to check ahead with them. if you like I can send you the lock phone numbers.
