West Coast to Caribbean

I have been cruising BC coast for the past 5 years... there is lifetime of cruising here, however, I wish to move on for now. My plan is British Columbia to Carib to the head of Lake Superior in the Great Lakes then truck the boat back to BC or alternatively the reverse. Questions would be timing and routes.

Thanks in advance...
Gary

P.S...anyone looked into the cost of trucking 36´steel boat 10 tons twin keels from Thunder Bay to Vancouver....
