Tracking Our Travels

Our family has asked if there was a way to keep track of our travels. Is there a program or web site that allows us to enter time and position so that others may review our progress online? Ideally we enter date, time and position and a historical chronology is updated online. Ideas appreciated. Note: I know that sites such as Google will show present location but we're looking for something that tracks history. Thanks

my gps also has thos feature of keeping track of where and how far one has travelled on th e journeys and adventures.....waypoints and distance travelled.... look on yurs and see where it is-- might have to read the instruction book--i found, doin gthat, that mine also has ais capabilities..LOL

Thanks for the feedback. I'm looking for a website where you can manually enter date, time and position. The website would allow others to view your path historically. I don't want to purchase hardware to do it automatically. The website should provide zoom and pan and time stamp each point with a date and time. I'm not interesting in a blog. A free site would be perfect, but I'd be willing to pay a nominal subscription fee if it met all my needs.

We've been using Sail Trac for our sailing vacations. It lets you post locations, photos and status updates. They also have a smartphone app that's pretty user friendly.
