Thank You CF !

After 30 months of sailing, and many posts seeking advice and counsel from the folks at CF, my wife and I have completed our circumnavigation.

We want to thank the many respondents to our many posts -- along with Noonsite, this forum was crucial to our safety and well-being.

For insomniacs, our blog captures the journey -- our minds, bodies, spirits, souls, and, not to be forgotten, our 44 foot catamaran, ile de Grace.

Now, it's time to resume our land lives, whatever they may be.

Thanks again, everyone!

We can aspire no higher goal than that. The CF membership has a long tradition of being helpful. It is always nice to here a confirmation that sailors helping other sailors is a simple formula that works! The technology makes it easier but the people make it happen.

It might be nice if you could stop by once in a while and write a few postings about things you learned, things you know and what it means so the new folks can learn. We always need a few seasoned sailors here.

Congratulations on your successful CN and I echo Paul's request to hang around. You must have some good (experienced based) knowledge to share!

Re: Thank You CF!

A tip of the hat to you for following your dream. Have you given a thought to how you are going to deal with all the nonsense on land once you are back in the states? After 30 months on board sailing around the world I can't imagine it is going to be easy.
