Started Our Blog

Well I started our trip blog if anyone would like to check it out.

I have included pictures of the dog lifejackets we use and of some of the items my husband has made for the boat in his workshop and on his sewing machine. I hope to keep it updated as we sail the Chesapeake and down the ICW with our dogs in our 285 Hunter. Our boat arrives in Havre de Gracce, Maryland Oct 7 and we hope to be underway shortly after the Boat Show along with just about everyone else I imagine...

See you on the water...

Great blog so far! Does Ian hire out? His work looks great.

Are you going to live on the boat full time?

Thanks, Ian was mad I posted his work he says he is still learning and has a ways to go. He is so hard on his work but let me tell you the seams are perfect on his sewing and his woodworking looks professional not that you will ever hear that from him.

We will be on the boat for two months then putting her on the hard in south Carolina until next fall. We have family responsibilities that will be taking us to northern Ontario for the rest of the winter but next winter we want to be on board for at least four to six months. We work seasonally so that makes it possible.
