Seattle to Vanuatu in Late March - Route Advice ?

I will be taking a Formosa 41 with a crew of 5 friendly people on a conservation/education journey South in late March. We have to be in Vanuatu mid-may, so we have to leave Seattle ASAP. I am trying to figure out where we can make stops along the Coast, and how far out we should be to avoid bad coastal weather, and how far South we are going to need to go to get around the Pacific High, and start Easting to Hawaii.

Also, any advice on good stops between Hawaii and Vanuatu? So Far we are planning stops in Palmyra, and Samoa. Thoughts?

would highly reccomend kanton island,but take plenty of food.

we stopped there last year and made world news,also stopped in funafuti,tuvalu,great and nearly never have visiting yachts.

Sounds like pretty much distance to go in only a month and a half. Re-calc your route and make sure this is viable in a Formosa.
