Sailing from taverneir key to key west this weekend.

Hi guys,

After experiencing somre heavy seas getting this far* (6 to 8ft) coming into miami. I'm a little shook as to try to get to key west between now and Monday. Am I being paranoid about the weather outlook or should I wait until Sunday when the wind dies down. I was gonna leave tomorrow and beat into the wind to get to marathon early tomorrow then wait until Saturday/Sunday to go to key west,
Thoughts advice on this weather and sea conditions?
