Congratulations on the "maiden" passage, and thanks for the cool videos! Makes me want to leave the office on the spot.

I was going to ask what's the story behind flying the Bermuda flag when you bought Soft Air in the BVI, but then I found your thread and learned that it's the BVI flag with red background. Interesting!

The Red Ensign with BVI's coat of arms is the official flag for BVI registered yachts. Just a plain red ensign is allowed. I think ex Royal Navy personnel can fly the blue ensign.

cheers,
Nick.

Many years ago I flew mighty De Havilland Twin Otters in the south american jungle and i was very happy to see one from Softair taking off at Charlotte Amalie, US VI whilst heading to Puerto Rico

I hired this two kids at the marina (paid with icecream) to hunt for some lizards (according to google: get a cat or get a kid) on board. They did a good job and besides some cheap ice cream my puerto rican friend let them drive the dinghy whilst I recorded...the girl skip school that day

Lizards are gone.

Sail to Cartagena de Indias

Cartagena de Indias is now a prime location for sailing yachts. Tranquil, safe and friendly...sail to Cartagena and stay away from the hurricane area, Softair will greet you with local knowledge and open arms

The only Risk is wanting to Stay:

Great stuff, JC. Cartagena, especially, and all of Colombia couldn't hope for a better ambassador than you.

All the best,
