BUT WAIT!!
I see this
1. Due to regularly scheduled
maintenance in the Okeechobee Waterway (OWW), mariners are
strongly advised that the following should be taken into consideration whether transiting Lake
Okeechobee or stopping for recreational activities such as
fishing.
a. (Moore Haven Lock): Moore Haven Lock will be closed for major
maintenance from June
8th to September 3rd. Dates are tentative. A subsequent notice may be issued, accordingly.
b. (W.P. Franklin Lock): W. P. Franklin Lock will be closed for the
installation of a Manatee
Protection System from May 26th to July 1st. Dates are tentative. A subsequent notice may be
issued, accordingly.
c. Due to the maintenance
events above, crossing the state via the OWW will not be possible
until Sept. 3rd.
2. Additional information concerning Lake Okeechobee and the adjoining waterway may be
obtained by accessing the
Jacksonville District web site at
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers®*— Jacksonville District and
linking to the
NAVIGATION and/or
WATER MANAGEMENT selections from the POPULAR
PAGES dropdown menu.

When I follow the directions above to go to .mil site I get
lost.
I have been there and all over a few times and cannot find anything I think I need. I did get this.

That don't help.
Can someone help me out?
May is what
current plans call for.
