Use Google Earth and chart out the times and distances and then decided whether you want to sail or to visit ports. Cadiz to Corsica is ~820 miles. Average of 5 knots (YMMV) is almost 7 days non stop.

I'm in no way an expert but our first year in the Med on the West Coast of Italy we traveled a total of 50 nm in 6 weeks. There was so much to see. I like the idea of studying a place before I leave. Know what you want to see and leave a lot of time unplanned so that you can enjoy the great things that you find enroute.
