I am in that category I guess. I am 27 and recently purchased my boat. I and am in the process repairing/refitting it for a big cruise. I blog about it all here:

Well, I don't know if it will keep you entertained or not, but here's link to mine, just started this past spring, and sorely neglected since then.
It will get better and more interesting. At least it should.

Very impressive site Erick, good luck with your motor, I'll keep an eye out to see how it goes.

I'll add my blog to the mix: Sea Trials: Our Life Afloat. While it's a work in progress, we're starting a 10-month cruise in a matter of weeks, at which point I'll plan to be updating regularly. Our (still hazy) plan is to spend November and December in North Carolina, then take the ICW to the Keys after the holidays. After that, we'll plan on making our way back up to New England by summer 2010. It's our first time cruising (we're 25 and 30, respectively), so hopefully you can learn from our mistakes!

I'm also in my late 20s. Just purchased a boat (Cal 34) in California and I'm in the process of wrapping things up in my old home with the intent of moving aboard for the winter to upgrade and work on the boat, and just enjoy it for a few months.
I don't have a blog and won't be starting one (not my type of thing) but I figured I'd drop you a line. I just read Erik's blog and I had followed the Slapdash blog before. Good luck finding what you're looking for.

Here is our blog (Ken & Tammy - early 30's). We are ready for launch next week (hopefully) after 1 year of refitting in s texas after leaving our jobs and re-locating from Seattle.
We are also lso friends of SV Hello World and started our search and planning about the same time, though they made it out there first...
Good luck
