Our blog svbillabong.blogspot.com covers 5.5 years from Ventura CA to Turkey, and includes geoblog and interactive maps.

We've also started a cruising blog search engine where fellow cruisers can submit their blogs. I'm trying to get cruisers to add location info to map posts and increase the value for following cruisers (learn more or submit your blog).

my blog

Hi
I'm 24 year old poet, filmmaker and sailor. Check out my blog of writing/log/photos/videos. I hope to encourage others to pursue this more self-sufficient lifestyle.

Just getting started, but here it is Kalina's Odyssey

See you at anchor one day!

here are a few sailing blogs which did the same like your going to do - sailing the icw and further south. they are all "new" - 2008, 2009 and two are still on the way .

Harmony's Maiden Voyage - a young couple sailing the ICW northwards, Highland Beach FL, home to Woods Hole MA via the Intracoastal Waterway (ICW)
Bahamas Voyage - sailing route: Toronto - Bahamas - Florida
Cool Breeze sails south - Started in Hilton Head Island for a winter sail to the Keys and possibly the Dry Tortugas - still sailing
Villainy sails south for winter - sailing Villainy from New York City to Miami, Keys and Bahamas, Fall 2009 - Spring 2010 - still sailing

Good luck with your trip!!!
- daniel

Fun thread. I'm sitting here with a lovely ale on the boat and 10 new windows open full of blogs to binge on.

Just recently I posted my top 3 favorites. I would be guessing on ages but I think these are all 30-somethings or younger (including ours):

Here are my favorites so far:

Adventures of the Sailing Vessel SohCahToa - 3 younger guys circumnavigating
Sailing Blog - AfterBlue Sailaway - Young people sailing Bahamas & Cuba
Cruising the Great Lakes and Bahamas - Guy cruising great lakes & Bahamas.
If you know of any other good suggestion to keep me entertained until I get my turn please let me know!!
AGE IS A STATE OF MIND......

I'm in the youth of old age. It probably won't hurt you to check out my sailing blog. But I cannot be responsible for any cruising dreams launched by reading my website.

Can I pimp my own blog?

I bought my boat when I was 26 and sailed from the UK to Australia. I'm nearly 29 now... But I made it! Here it is: Bigoceans | Tiny Boat

They are younger, taking a break from being teachers in NYC. Currently cruising the Bahamas.

Changing Course (Thats me)
Not out cruising yet, but you could follow our plans.

bumfuzzle | home
Whole wealth of knowledge on circumnavigating with little experience to start with.

Sailing, Simplicity, and the Pursuit of Happiness
A 31 year old woman sailing simply.

Sushi Chefs | The Hynes Honeymoon!
This couple just completed a voyage from Viginia, through the Caribbean, and down to New Zealand.

These are some I follow and find interesting. Lots of good ones on this thread!

Floaton put up our link already- Thanks! We are in the process of completing the same trip you are planning on and we are both 26. We started in NY, got south mostly through the ICW and currently trying to decide if we will spend the next year in Panama or the Dominican Republic.
