GREYHAWK's wicked good adventure
Six men sailed a leaky little boat to Maine....
Sailing up the Chesapeake through heavy showers, beating down Delaware Bay, reaching though an offshore gale, sailing in the fog at night, a spinnaker run across Cape Cod Bay ... read all the details here: http://members.acadia.net/catamount/Greyhawk/Delivery/ Regards,

Congratulations Tim.
I noticed that Greyhawk was gone from the Creek and had hoped that she had sailed safely home. I'm glad that we had a chance to meet face to face. Jeff Last edited by Jeff H; 09-07-2006 at 16:40. |

Jeff,
earlier in June we had sailed up the creek and saw SYNERGY docked in Martin's Cove -- does this mean you got your house back? Regards,

Tim,
Yes, as things worked out I ended with my house back. I really love being home again and having my workshop again. This spring I reworked Synergy's forward cabin a bit and replaced the uphostery. I have been also working on her sail handling gear a bit. I also took delivery of a new #2 genoa that was cut a little full like the leading edge of a # 1. This sail has proven to be wonderful, with a very wide range down to a knot or two of wind on up to approximately 20 knots of apparent wind. The old girl is really coming along. I just took her over to get hauled. You can still see her old hailing Port of Boothbay Harbor when the transom needs waxing. I hope that your summer cruising goes well and I look forward to hearing about your progress with Greyhawk now that she is in her new home waters. Regards, Jeff |
