Crossing the Pacific, in the wake of our parents.

In 1986 the Norwegian galeas Svanhild crossed the Pacific Ocean. The ship was purchased by five couples who had set out to circumnavigate the world with their children and friends.
The S/S Svanhild

The son of the previous captain, a boy who lived on Svanhild from he was 5-8 years old, is now our captain. Throughout 2013 he will maneuver the new vessel S/Y Evolution crewed by nine happy sail amateurs. It will be a journey in the historical wake of their parents.
The soon to be S/Y Evolution

The crew consists of both marine biologists and proffessional video journalists. We are working with manta Trust on taking ID photos of matas and we are planning an exciting video project.
