BlueJacket Down-East Circle Route Text/Photo/Video Logs
I've just finished moving BlueJacket from the Chesapeake to Ossining, NY,
which is just N of the Tappan Zee bridge. I had a great trip and returned
home to pick up Sue, who is recovering from major abdominal surgery. As of next week she'll be cleared to be on the boat.
Anyhow, while at home I had a chance to update my video, photo and text logs. If anyone is interested, they're located at

Great pictures Geoff. Hope you get all your crew back soon! Which route are you taking to get to the St. Lawrence? Erie or Champlain canals?

Erie. Champlain has a limiting depth of 5', which is 6" too little...

Six inches too little is no good!
We're at Iroquois, that'll be the first St. Lawrence Seaway lock you encounter on the downward leg of the river. Let us know when you're in the neighborhood. There's a couple of good marina's to lay over if you need to. Good luck and keep posting the photos.

Geoff, Good to here you are making progress and Sue is doing better. We too are under way heading north on the ICW, currently in Ft. Peirce. Good luck and have a great trip. Chuck and Susan

I'm temporarily back in the land of Internet access and have posted the next video log of my trip. It covers Ossining, NY to Catskill, NY via the Hudson river. Highlights include West Point and passing through the Appalachian mountain range. This was a very beautiful section of the trip.
You can find links to the videos at: h ttp://www.geoffschultz.org/2008_Sailing/Photos/

Chuck: Great to hear from you. Where are you headed?
KnottyBouyz: Thanks for the offer. I'll keep it in mind.
