Why does nobody get sponsors to sail

Just asking y nobody gets sponsored to sail. I mean it's perfectly easy you just write a letter to a company telling them that their logo could be displayed all around the country and even internationally. In exchange u just put a sticker on your boat or cable tie a sign to the lifelines and receive money or products.

Your question is self answering

Nobodys don't get sponsors, but the somebodys do.

All of the Americas Cup boats had multiple sponsors.

Perfectly easy! If it was, we'd all have sponsors.

If we all had sponsors, who would be the customers?

Re: Why does nobody get sponsors to sail

Oh what a lovely idea. Getting somebody to pay a sailor to sail. Perhaps something like an adopt a highway program in the USA, we can have an adopt a sailor program, where a company can adopt a sailor, drunken or otherwise, (The sailor, not the company). Perhaps sending photo's from far away to share with their employees. Oh wait that would cause the employees to want to sail too.

I'm more then willing to be a test case and sacrifice my moral fabric (not that I have any) and accept money for nothing.

So Mr. corporation persons out there. You need to use me, a lazy good for nothing layabout sailorchic, as your spokesperson, Just send me $1500 a month and I will send you photo's and inspirational writeup's from all over, that are sure to motivate the employees and shareholders alike. Though not necessarily the same way. I will even include grumpy cat photo's. Heck, I'll donate a seriously grumpy cat, with kittens too, to the corporation that hires me to sail.

Gee did I just become a boat whore????

I'm sure I'll have several corporate backers very soon now.

Re: Why does nobody get sponsors to sail

I keep writing to Beneteau and Jeanneau; I tell them I'd be happy to sail the entire Caribbean promoting one of their boats. All they have to do is provide it. Still no response. Strange...
