Yeah... what *does* the "guess who" part mean?

Now what WM needs (to gain market share) is a PRODUCT manager, not more marketing. They have already saturated the market and everyone knows who they are. They are losing market share due to inferior products, service and selection.

They ought to read this forum, rather than hire new marketing people to understand why their market share is declining.

The "guess who" part means guess who’s looking.

They srue can't compete on price, so you would think that they would choose to corner the convenience aspect - but NOOOO I honestly don't understand them. They have a store in Oakville, Ontario - hands down the MOST affluent part of the Metropolitan Toronto area. People could care less about driving a half hour to save five bucks - they want something immediately and they want to get back to their boats which are five or ten minutes away.

Most of them don't even bother going into the West Marine store anymore - because its guaranteed that they won't have what you want, but be happy to order it for you so that it can show up in three weeks...

So everyone drives a little further to the other store that operates on nice margins, and gets what they need when they need it.
