So I call up and the nice lady (they have all been nice and friendly when you call), tells me that probably means it was approved and then she verifies that it was approved.
I'd really like to know what idiot set up their tracking website. Don't you think it would be a little more logical to change the status to "approved" rather than, WE HAVE NO RECORD
OF YOUR BOAT.
Same happened to me recently, their packet status inquiry system really sucks.
However, they did turn my renewal around in about 48 hours.
Staff at NVDC are always helpful. I assume a big part of the issue is lack of budget
for automation and staff reallocated to Homeland Security
tasks...much of this process could be fully automated, but their "eRegistration" system has been on hold for ages.
