I have found that when I'm moving in the right direction, things seem to just happen and the flow is good.

I appreciate the offer but I am looking to be in the 36' - 40' range.

Going to be spending a lot of time with my best friend on board, he is 6'3" I am 6'1" looking at the two of us its obvious our ancestors were some broad sword swingin mo-fo's.

Plus if we each wind up with a girlfriend and possibly a guest or two on board, boat gonna get small mighty quick!

I too, am looking at a new boat but not until December or even 2-3 months later. I am looking for a Hudson force 50 with the Bow sprit comes in at 60 feet . it has 3 cabins and a small ballroom for dancing!! Things seem to be falling into place after so many years of crap falling on me as I ran ..

California would be the last place I'd try to live on a boat with a budget.

Mexico would definitely be in your budget but you're isolated socially a little more (language barriers though you can get by if you have some basic spanish and mostly retired gringos being your social circle). For the record I loved living in Mexico, did a week sailing in the Sea of Cortez and could spend a large amount of time just hanging out there on a boat.
