Summer Work/Locations?

My brother and I have been cruising the Bahamas last winter and would like to find summer “boat work” in the Mid-Atlantic or New England. The location would have to be somewhere we could live aboard (preferably on anchor or mooring). We are open to all work possibilities, but would like to learn or improve a skill rather than a summer of slapping on bottom paint (not that there’s anything wrong with that). We’re both in our 20’s, easy going, and hard workers. We have learned quite a bit restoring and maintaining on our 40’ sailboat (diesel engine/mechanical, electrical trouble shooting/using a multi-meter, varnishing/brightwork, etc). My brother is also a good cook and a “people person.” I have a USCG captain’s license (soon to have master upgrade). Can anyone recommend the best locations (ie Newport, Nantucket, Annapolis) or possible jobs/employers?
