Hey all, I'm working a telecommuting job based off of odesk.com which is an independent contracting site. I think my job is pretty extraordinary; I have a continuing relationship with them which should last several years, and they pay well (1,000/wk for 15-20 hrs work). A lot of the jobs you'll find on the site are one time contracts and don't pay much, but who knows, you may luck into something as awesome as my job.

They send me new contracts as I need them, I have no schedule or timeline, and I can work as much or as little as I want; pretty perfect for cruising. That said, I'm not a full time employee, so I have no benefits, but the job makes up for that with flexibility. Right now I'm down in baja checking out a few boats my brother and I are considering for our circumnavigation. I figured I might as well spend the whole month down here working and relaxing because..... why not?

Anyway, thought I'd pass on the site to any other cruisers looking for some income. Go here for the full list of jobs. There are tens of thousands of job postings, plenty for all.

I'm on there as well. I'm currently working my 40+hour a week job as well with hopes of switching priorities over to Odesk to cruise. I like it. Haven't found a continuous for myself but also can't commit that much time right now. I recommend checking it out as well.

Very interesting site. If you are a web designer, there are lots of jobs available on the site. I am wondering how people get paid for their work when it is complete?
