Newest Marina Cash Cow in Baltimore

A couple Marinas (Owned by the same company) are counting the number of times you swipe your card at the security gate. They have some arbitrary number, above which you have to pay more to keep your boat there......that doesn't include the parking that used to be free....now you pay as do your guests at $12-18 a day.

They also double the rate of the electricity.

No wonder people are leaving

Be thankful you have options. If one government/commercial entity was running the state/country/world, you'd be in for it. Blessed is the world of decentralization and free enterprise/choice.

What Mark said. A marina near here decided 3 years ago to kick out all the live-aboards. Not only did the live-aboards leave, but so did many others in solidarity. A few months later, the marina was scrambling, offering all kinds of deals and bounties to get new people (and they got rid of the director who screwed up). Ideally, business is self-correcting...

YIKES!! Man, I really can't stand unbridled raw greed!!! Hopefully, they will get get "theirs" like the marina near microship.. Unbelievable?!?!
