Narrowed down boat list - thoughts?

I have narrowed down a few boats that me and my wife may be interested in. Once again, we are looking to live aboard for a few years at our marina while I finish graduate school, and then plan on a few years sailing wherever the wind takes us. Wanting something sturdy that can take a crossing if needed. Here are some boat options I have seen available that we like. Thoughts on the good, bad and ugly?

Tartan 37 (price is usually too high)
Morgan 38 models or 36. (these look like the top of my list as far as quality)
Islander 36 (I have a friend selling one)
CC Landfall

I also left out im looking at a few Pearson 365s.

Tartan quality is by far the best of your 3 choices and sail better than the other 2.
