Looking for charter company
I have a 2011 Leopard 444 catamaran in Roadtown, Tortola, BVI's. She was in a Sunsail charter agreement when I purchased her. The charter is complete June 30 2017. I am interested in placing her back in a charter program following the re-fit which will take place July and August 2017. Anyone have experience with other charter programs they could recommend?

Re: Looking for charter company
Try Conch charters of BVI Yacht charters - both solid operations and very nice people to deal with. A third optionwould be TMM. Tony

Re: Looking for charter company
I'd take a look at TMM ( Tortolla Marine Management). I've chartered with them in the past and the boats were always in great condition. To me that translates to good protection for the owners. JMHO

Re: Looking for charter company
I agree. I have chartered from Conch 4 times in the last 12 years and would highly recommended them. We'll be using them again next year.

Re: Looking for charter company
I will second the TMM recommendation. I have chartered with them. Boats are in very good condition, all of their personnel were very professional, and it is a convenient location to the ferry for those flying into STT and coming over by ferry.

Re: Looking for charter company
I chartered from Conch in November. I'd recommend them too, they seem to be a good company for the owner and charterer.

Re: Looking for charter company
If you would consider moving your boat out of the BVI, Horizon in Grenada runs a good operation.

Re: Looking for charter company
I may be wrong, but I believe TMM generally phases boats out at 5 years and therefore unlikely to accept yours... but let us know where you go.
Any comments from owners regarding the different programs/ restrictions in these "2nd Tier" programs?(By second tier I am referring to those charter companies with "Not new" boats, generally 4-5 years or older)
