Insurance in Philippines

REALLY NEED HELP............

Will be sailing our boat to the Philippines soon.

To anyone who has a boat in the Philippines, what are the marina rules.

Do we only need insurance for the marina if something happens to our boat.

Also, we can't seem to find anyone who sells insurance in the Philippines.

We have priced insurance for our journey and it is cost prohibitive.

My Filipino wife and I only want use our boat within the islands.

Yesterday a super typhoon (Haima) blew the roof off and the front half away of my brother-in-law's house. This is the reason I decide against taking my boat to P.I. a couple years ago.

does anyone know anything about how the change in allegiance from usa territory to chinese amigos will effect the regulations regarding cruising there?
or is this merely a dream in the mind of phillipino president?
