Insurance Experience / Recommendations

Hi all, does anyone have any recommendations for insurance?
(Gibraltar registered catamaran, European owner, cruising ground Caribbean.)
Which insurer is best?
Any bad experiences?
I have heard about Yachtline, Haven and Pantaenius... are there good alternatives?
Thanks!

Hm... www.yachtinsuranceinternational.com redirects to main page www.commandeur.nu with no info in English. Are they still in boat insurance business?

You are correct. That is new for me - we have been using them for 5 years and just made a payment. I haven't been on their website for a year, but now see that it does not mention boat insurance or have an english page any longer. I have emailed them.

Re: Insurance Experience / Recommendations

Regarding Commandeur: their website is down right now. The one you get in dutch without boat insurance is an old one. Their yacht insurance website should be back up in a day or so and is:

www.commandeuryachtinsurance.com

I know some sailors who used and abused Pantaenious. Expensive, but reliable.

Pantaenius very good. Don't know whether its more expensive than others. Seems reasonable....about 900 euros/year for 105,000 euros worth of hull, etc and all of the normal liability cover necessary for sailing in Mediterranean.
