Talking I would like a boat now please.....

Hello,
I am new, and am in the market for a good starter family sailboat. I would like somthing between 26' and 28'. A good day/weekend sailer. I am willing to commit to owner financing, with a good downpayment. If anyone out there can help me out, or give me some advice or information I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,
Rick

Sorry, I am in North Carolina, and will probably be sailing out of Atlantic Beach or Emerald Isle area.

I don't now if you want to go to look in the gulf coast area, but there are some good buys. A 26 Pearson for $4500, 2 - 27" O'days for $4000 each, etc. Look at traderonline. com

Thanks

Thank you,
I have noticed a few that I liked on the gulf coast. As far as moving the vessel. Would it be better to tow via the hwy, or sail back to the NC coast??

Aloha Rick,
eBay had a great 26' Marieholm International Folkboat just advertised. It was in Annapolis.
They are the very best of the small cruisers in my opinion but are small inside.
Keep checking on eBay. eBay Motors, sailboat and sail boat is your search.
Kind Regards,
JohnL
