Boat Transport in Tennessee

I put this in the CF Commercial Biz Forum and got no replies - maybe this is a better spot for it -

We have our 42' Vagabond on stands near Jamestown, Tennessee, and want to move it to our driveway. She is approximately 36,000 lbs, about 13' high from bottom of keel to top of anything, and 13' wide, and the move is about 5 miles. Our driveway, which is the last quarter-mile or so of the 5 miles total, is well compacted gravel. There are some trees/branches that may require removal (I'll do that), but we need someone with the proper equipment and experience to move our boat along our curvy driveway. The guy who moved it from Maryland was unable to get to our house due to minimal clearance (less than 6") under his trailer.

I don't mind paying for a recon so long as you have the wherewithal to follow through if you can do it. This is not some request for a favor, I expect to pay for a professional service.

Thanks, and an email to ajrookus@gmail.com will get a response within a day.

Change your e-mail address. The "rook us" part may be putting people off.

Well Ann, I've had that name for 60 years as of today and you're the very first one who ever said that. So I think I'll just have to let it slide. But thanks for the encouragement, you've made my b-day.

Hey Kuparuk, you aren't a slope worker are you? Just wondering. Haven't seen that word in a few years.

Nice. My Dad worked for ARCO for 25 years, and then went to China for BP to set up their training program. I worked up there 4 summers during college. It was a great experience.
