The states make it hard to be a traveling surveyor
here as most states have their own licensing requirements that would make it prohibitively difficult. Is the rest of the world like that? Are land surveyors in demand? Wonder if throwing some surveying equipment
on board would present me with some opportunities down the road? Any one else do this? I could teach wifey to hold a rod, but I doubt she'd go in a swamp to find a bench mark!
