Advice on insurance

Hello forum,

I own a 42 Bavaria currently moored in Chaguaramas, Trinidad.

Can anybody recommend an insurance where I am allowed to stay in the water during the hurricane period ?

All opinions about the choice of insurance in the area will be greatly appreciated.

All the best,
Best Regards,
Allan Nielsen /

Re: Advice on insurance

Check Al Golden for jackline policy (IMIS Home Page ~ International Marine Insurance Services). Heard many good things about them. You can also try to get a quote from Commandeur ( We just signed on with Commandeur. We have read good and not so good things about them on the boards but the rates and coverage was better. I know, if they don't pay the claim it doesn't matter, but all insurance is a gamble.
