This could be the week!

At the rate the ice is melting, this could be the week we take Amanda Faye out for the first time in 2003!! I'm working on arangements for a slip at a closer marina for 2003 and I'm hoping they will allow me to come in early.

Thumbs up +10 deg C

Good to hear irwinsailor

The ice and snow is melting fast here in Norway too now. Today is a beautiful sunny day with +10 deg C.

This is the week I move our boat to the new marina! The ice is all but gone and I will have no problem moving her!

She is moved! We ran aground at least 8 times. The bouys are not in yet and I just could not find the chanel, but we made it. This slip will be easier for me to get in and out of. That will be a plus becausr our boat is a nightmare to dock. She was not made to dock she is a mooring or anchor boat.

pirate 8 times ...

Whow! 8 times aground on one trip

But I hope you'll have bouys to guide you soon.

Is all the ice gone in your area now, irwinsailor?

It is all gone! There are some ice bergs on lake Michigan but if I wanted to sail they would not be a problem. Next week I think I will take her out for the first sail of the year.

Lake M1

We still had an ice pack here, but its all drift ice, if the wind changes it will disperse.

Thumbs down Northern weather

Was great here in Ohio the last few days, I was out messing with the boat all week. This weekend however is the pits. No sun and there were snow flurries this morning. Thank goodness it didn't stick.
