Will you be taking that crazy cat on any more boating adventures or is that out of your system now?

Yer pushing the season, but I confess I was almost tempted today to take the shrink-wrap off.

10C and bright sunshine in T-dot. After this winter it felt glorious.

But I resisted. Probably another snow dump waiting in the wings.

Hey Dave, we're pretty sure Squirt's staying behind this summer. Still have to figure out who's going to look after him but his boating days are likely over.

I was thinking of taking the shrink wrap off, but glad I didn't. Its snowing again. Lauch is the 25th, and all I need to do is replumb the exhaust and test run the diesel, so the wrap can stay up til the 24th. Im not even painting the bottom this year. Last year I didn't on the new boat because of time constraints, and it worked a charm with the old stuff. So from now on, it will be every second year til its time to go to salt water.

FIRST SAIL!!!

We went out for the afternoon on Sunday the 5th on the Chesapeake Bay!!! First sail of the season was a beautiful 12 knot southerly and 60 degree sunny day--
made my busting my hump in March to get the bottom painted early when the temps hit 60 for a weekend worth it!!!

Here's to the upcoming season-

Took the shrinkwrap off last weekend and then it snowed Monday and Tuesday. But not much and it's winter's last gasp.

Soon. Soon. Sailing soon.
