Thanks Paul.

Nothing to bad, but it looked nicer last week. They can never predict the weather well.

I have everything packed and ready to go. I just hope the small craft advisory is gone in the morning. If not it will be a fun bumpy ride sailing to the mooring balls.

Ronc:

A few storms keep passing through, seems like we have had a low swirling over the top of us for 2~3 weeks. Don't worry about it, come one up and play. The sail to the island is not very far and the mooring field is quite secure.

Joli

We'll be there Friday and yea I figure it will be a beat there and back.

Thanks Joli.

Stop by and say hi. I will be hooked to a mooring ball until sunday. You wont be able to miss me. I figure I will be one of the only Chrysler C-26 sailboats there. I will be white with a red strip.

so much for my trip, I awoke with a 102 temp and coughing up green stuff. I am going to put postpone this for a week or so until I can breath again.

Looks nice up there.

Sorry to hear that Ron. Hope you mend up quick. Nasty storms last night though, haven't yet been to the boat so I don't know if we still have a masthead.

the weather looked nasty but I did not expect that picture.

I hope you still have everything above the waterline.

Is that picture of sandusky?

Not clear on the format here yet, but here goes anyway. In response to the guy who was putting together the library of slips to use in a pinch for storm protection, and looking for grocery stores as well (earlier in this thread...), the new boat launch is opening next week in Sheffield Lake, just east of Lorain and about 40 miles east of Sandusky. I believe there is anchorage and there is also a huge Giant Eagle grocery store right there as well, just across Lake Road. It's not likely you will find that info anywhere yet.
I couldn't figure out how to respond in a logical fashion to that post. Any tips?

Crazy weather patterns these days. I am going to bit the bullet and launch this friday 7-18 and dodge all the thunderstorms. Are we ever going to loose this pattern?

I wont get a week at the lake but I will be able to get three good days in I hope.
