We just removed two YANMAR 3GM30F engines from our catamaran. There are 4500 hours on each engine, and they are for sale at $2500 for each engine.

Our catamaran was in storage in a boatyard in Fort Pierce, Florida for the past ten years, and when we returned to recommission and refit the yacht, we spent about six weeks debating whether to use these engines or install new ones.

We decided to get two new Yanmars as we plan to sail offshore when the refit is complete.

I have no idea as to the condition of the engines since we are on the hard in the boatyard.

The engines are now in Stuart, Florida at Complete Diesel in their warehouse where they can be viewed if you are interested in checking out the engines.

The engines have never had any work done to them except for routine maintenance like oil changes and valve adjustments. When we put the boat in dry storage, the engines were running fine.
