Volvo Penta MD2000 series Exhaust Elbow

Existing exhaust elbow is to degraded to obtain part number.

This is a for a 2 cylinder MD2000 series.

Sticker with exact model number for the engine is also too degraded to obtain useful information.

This seems to be the closes match:

Shipping to FPO AP; payment via paypal (open to payment suggestions).

Thanks.

Long time Volvo penta 2000 series owner.

You should be able to verify part number at this site and compare cost.

Volvo Penta Schematics - Marine Parts Express

You should also be able to boil out the excess carbon on your existing unit for later use. Lots of threads here on the forum to keep these swedish iron antiques running.

Good luck

This link shows exhaust elbow for a MD 2002.

I have just bought and fitted a new stainless elbow for a TMD22, from HDI marine, appears very well made, and cheaper than the cast steel elbow supplied by volvo.

Uh.... I'm not really sure how the VAT thing works, but the price difference is crazily substantial.

172.67 vice 215.84... 25% tax?

I'm not in the euro zone if that helps... or even in the UK for that matter.
