Volvo MD2B Engines and Parts

Sailors- I have three of these 2 cyl. engines, two are for parts (no tranmissions and may be siezed), but they came off of fresh water boats so very little rust. A third was still running when I took it out, burns no oil and has a newer starter; has v-drive transmission, just more rusty. It was running fine when I took it out it just needs a new seal at the back of the transmission. Roughly 450 hours smoh. Also has a fully operational instrument panel which is hard to find. $1200 for all three. Just the fuel and water pumps and injectors are worth the price of admission here, plus I have many other spare parts, gaskets, rings, pistons, fuel and oil filters, etc. Located near Cape Cod MASS.

Re: Volvo MD2B Engines and Parts

Do you still have MD2B parts -- specifically, an exhaust manifold and riser? Thanks.

Re: Volvo MD2B Engines and Parts

Thanks. My boat with its troubled MD2B is on Long Island, my son is in NYC, and I'm in Virginia. I need to coordinate with him to see if we might be able to come up to see your engines. I'm new to the forum and don't know how to send a private message. It'd be nice if you could send me an email at rsmartin200@yahoo.com and if we can come up I'll contact you.

Re: Volvo MD2B Engines and Parts

Are you willing to sell individual parts or are you selling the three engines as one transaction?

Re: Volvo MD2B Engines and Parts

I could possibly sell things individually, but I am out of the country for most of November and December, so it could take me a while to break them down.

Re: Volvo MD2B Engines and Parts

Would buy v drive transmission and "a fully operational instrument panel"
Please inform - could you ship to Tivat, Montenegro, Europe and how much that would be (the parts and the shipment)?

Re: Volvo MD2B Engines and Parts

I could certainly ship the engine panel to you. I would have to see how easy it is to remove the v-drive and ship it.

Thaks for your reply Todd!
Yes, please, let me know as soon as you see about v-drive remove as that part is the most important for me (there is no reason to control the thing you can not drive - this is about the panel )
Happy New Year and the best wishes!

Hi Eddii

I'll take some pictures and you can make certain they are what you want. Can you send me an email address?

Todd
