Check out Bacons and Annapolis Inflatables. They often have used repaired stuff. Also Craigslist Annapolis.
I have an 99 Yamaha 8 short shaft but it's not running until I do the carb rebuild kit I just bought. Runs sweet when the carb is not full off ethanol grime

To be honest, this is the last piece of kit I have left from my 3 yrs of cruising and solo trans-At and I am attached to it. So I'm in no hurry to rid myself of it. I guess I could move on, as I've bought a 2.5 Yamaha, but... how bad do you need it?

I have a Nissan 9.8 2 stroke short shaft I bought last April in St Martin that I want to sell. It is practically new, so not cheap but very dependable. I have it at home in DC and I'll sell it for $1500 (Paid a little over 1.9k)

I am looking for a deal. It is not critical that I take a family member. I live in Annapolis and need a motor for my new Dingy for my new boat. I am filling in the blanks because I bot a boat without all the accouterments. It is fun actually. So, if you don't need it and want it to go to a good home where it will continue to see new places and have fun let me know. Andy Wilson
