Three inch wide flat copper for radio ground.

Three inch wide .036 inch thick copper strap for radio ground. Seventeen feet four inches long. This is twelve times as thick as the stuff that Defender sells. The thin stuff will corrode away quickly and you will be replacing it frequently. This stuff lasts forever. Surface area is what counts for HF radio, thickness counts for longevity.

Defender price: $1.34 a foot. My price: $60.00 for the full length which comes to 3.53 a foot. Twelve times the thickness for less than three times the price. Plus USPS priority mail shipping to anywhere in the U.S. for $14.35.

It's a little dingy from laying around but perfectly good.

It’s worth about $2/lb at the scrapyard

That may be but this is not scrap. It is rolled flat copper and ready to use. And by the way, if you go to the scrapyard and want to buy copper they will charge you at least triple what they would pay you for it. This is eight pounds of copper. So at least $24 for the raw material. Then process it into flat copper. I think my asking price is fair.
