Re: ST era Raymarine electronics

RL70CRC Plus radar display
E52034 HB
Working, with manual
The screen has what I’d describe as “bubbles” under the glass. They don’t really interfere with the display though. I tried showing them in the pictures.
$280 plus $32 shipping

Any item under 70 pounds can be shipped by USPS (not UPS) in a USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box. Tracking and email confirmation of receipt is part of the service and you can print all mailing labels (on plain paper) on your home computer and charge it to a credit card. No standing in line at the Post Office.

Re: ST era Raymarine electronics

That’s exactly how I planned on shipping the items and that’s also where I got the shippings costs from. Most of the items will fit in a medium flat rate Priority mail shipping box and ship for $13.75. The only one I am unsure of is the radar dome because USPS doesn’t list a flat rate box large enough for the dome. I didn’t plan on shipping anything UPS. I want to ship it all via USPS; US mail.

Re: ST era Raymarine electronics

I would be interested as to why you chose B&G rather than modern Raymarine or Garmin to replace the ST kit.

Not interested in the old kit at those prices. Lots for less on ebay!

Re: ST era Raymarine electronics

I’ll have to say the admiral picked out the electronics. She liked the sailing features that B&G offered so that’s what we got. Hopefully they work out well for us.

I’m surprised about the comment about the prices being lower on eBay. I actually looked on eBay and made sure I priced mine lower than every price that I saw on eBay. I really had no idea what they are worth so that’s why I looked on eBay and priced mine lower than the lowest price I could find. I’m certainly open to offers.

Re: ST era Raymarine electronics

Nice to know that I am not the only one with an Admiral!

I cannot decide whether to replace the couple of ST instruments that have failed. Wind and Tridata which are in fact repeaters on the port helm. So not vital. Or to start again with NMEA2000. In which case my Garmin MFD might dictate. It also has the sailing stuff. What I like about Garmin kit is the clearly visible purple line for the waypoint(S). Raymarine has a near invisible line of dots. As far as I know, although it can only be a software issue, there is no way of changing that.

The ST6001 Smartpilot Contoller is SOLD.

Please don't hesitate from making your best offer on something you need. I didn't know what things were worth so I researched on ebay and made sure I priced all of my items below the lowest price I could find. Again, don't hesitate to make an offer.

I may be interested in the 400 computer. I need to see what that has over my old 100 series. Unless you know offhand. It looks almost the same.
