Sonic Sillette Drive

Wanted to purchase: Sonic Sillette Drive MK.2
Someone out there has just the right Sonic drive that I can use to rebuild my Catamaran Drive. It doesn't have to be perfect, parts can be missing. bearings can be replaced etc. If the unit is perfect all the better to get the job done quickly but I'm willing to do some work on it.
My last request for a part was answered very quickly and I was able to obtain just the right part. Thanks for all your help.
My old prout is an old but good sailing cat, and I am going to spend my 77th birthday on it on Saturday the 28th. What a lucky man I am!!!!
THE UNIT WILL LOOK SOMETHING LIKE THE ATTACHED PICTURE.

The cost in USD with shipping is unbelievable though.

Re: Sonic Sillette Drive

Friend of mine just replaced theirs with new from England with shipping for just under 5K. The new ones have heavier bearings and bevel gears which eliminates a lot of the problems with the older style. A call to Sillette may be in order. Very helpful people there. I helped do the change out from a dinghy on a calm day and by lunch time we were putting fluids in it and ourselves. This was on a Gemini MC 105

Not to get too far off topic, but you can buy 2 four stroke outboards for that.

True, but you have to figure in costs of engine sleds of brackets for them which will drive the cost up if done in a proper manner

Hi, I am going to be working on an a 1980 Prout Quest within the next few weeks in Fl. I believe it is a Sillette cat drive II. A lot of the top pieces of the drive corroded badly when the leg was left submerged for years and the zincs were not attended to. I wonder if the parts from your 2003 Gemini are compatible with my 1980 Quest? I have included pictures.
