For Sale: Solo mast climbing kit $200 + $25 s/h

I put this kit together to climb my mast solo. I did it once, it worked, and I never used it again. The rope is in excellent condition, very stiff. There are a few small barely noticeable stains on the rope from storage but I would have no qualms about using it for many years. It’s stiff stuff. PMI 11mm dynamic rope I believe.

There’s one petzl rescucender and One petzl basic rope clamp. There’s two locking petzl carabiners. I made up two foot loops of heavy duty strapping. There’s a climbing harness, a generic carabiner and the belay device that came with it (you can do rock climbing with the same stuff). All was purchased new and literally used one time. Oh also there’s a loop of covered dyneema that I used as prusick on another halyard as a backup.

I believe the rope is 50’ long. Not totally sure.

I never really tuned this up so I’m not sure if you might want to adjust the leg straps. But all the expensive parts of this kit are in excellent +++ condition. You may need to fiddle with it to get it all to work for you. It did work for me.

Sold my boat. This is the last of it. Obviously climbing a mast is dangerous, I take no responsibility for the safety of this stuff in any regard.

I think I told my nephew that you had it listed for about 250 maybe it was 200 all the time maybe I am getting older but I do want it he said it looked good from what he can see in the pictures
